Who can join?
Anyone who buys their own coverage: self-employed people, independent contractors, small business owners, early retirees and their families, including people who are not eligible for an employer plan. Key Risk Underwriters makes this program available through the brokers and clients it serves.
Is this a Key Risk Underwriters plan?
No. Coverage is individual. Each person joins on their own, picks their own plan, and pays their own monthly amount. Key Risk Underwriters makes the program available and its brokers can walk you through it; it does not sponsor or administer benefits.
When can I sign up?
Any month. Becoming a member is a qualifying event, so you don't have to wait for open enrollment. Most people are covered within a few days of signing up.
Can I add my spouse or kids?
Yes. Family pricing is shown at plan selection, based on each person's age.
Can I keep my doctor?
Most likely. Cigna PPO and PHCS are both national networks. You can search for your doctors during onboarding, before you pick a plan, and again any time in the app.
Can I talk to someone at Key Risk first?
Yes. Key Risk Underwriters is at 866-791-2804. You can also use the Have questions button on this page and a real person from Molli will reply within one business day.
